What Are Clear Aligners?
Invisalign clear aligners are a modern alternative to braces, designed to gradually straighten teeth while remaining almost invisible. They are a set of removable trays that are custom-made using advanced 3D imaging technology.

How Do Clear Aligners Work?
Treatment begins with a comprehensive assessment of your teeth and bite. Using computer imaging, a personalized series of aligners is created to guide your teeth into their ideal positions.
Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and moves your teeth over time. As you progress through the series, your smile transforms, with check-ins at our office every six weeks to ensure your treatment is on track.
How Long Does the Clear Aligner Treatment Last?
On average, patients wear between 18 and 30 aligners over 9 to 15 months. Your progress will be monitored closely to achieve the best results.
How to Care for Your Clear Aligners
- Remove aligners when eating or drinking anything besides water
- Brush and floss teeth before putting aligners back in
- Rinse aligners regularly to keep them clean
- Store aligners safely when not in use
- Follow the prescribed schedule for switching to the next set
